Summer Camp
What is Summer Camp?
Every year Guide Church sends our teens to summer camp where they are challenged to know, love, and serve Christ. During these camp experiences, we see many students accept Christ as their personal savior, grow deeper in their walk with God, and make life changing decisions that extend beyond camp week.
We go to the following camps each summer:
Engage Camp, a camp open and welcome to any student who wants to attend, and Ohio Changers, a missions camp for students who want to take a next step in their walk with God by spending part of their summer serving like Christ.
We don’t want the cost of summer camp to be an obstacle for anyone to attend. If you need financial assistance, please reach out! Also, stay tuned for more information about scholarship opportunities.

Engage Camp
What is engage camp?
E3 Ministries’ Engage Camp provides an engaging, comfortable, and safe environment for middle/junior high and high school students to know, love, and serve Christ. It is an overnight camp from July 1st to July 5th and will take place at Camp Chautauqua in Miamisburg, Ohio. This is the 8th year in a row Venture Student Ministries has attended Engage Camp! We believe Engage camp is important because we see many students make decisions for Christ and even more take crucial steps in their walk with God!
When is it?
Tuesday, July 1st – Saturday, July 5th

Ohio Changers
What is Ohio changers?
Ohio Changers is a week long missions camp. Students come together with adult crew leaders and work on construction projects throughout the day. At night the students and adults gather for a worship service followed by church group devotional time.
In an effort to reach multiple areas of Ohio, the location for Ohio Changers changes every year. This year, the camp will take place in Circleville, Ohio.
Students are challenged, encouraged, and equipped to come home closer to Christ.
When is it?
Saturday, June 7th – Friday, June 13th
Does my student need experience to attend?
NO! Ohio Changers is open to students who have a willing heart to serve! No prior experience is required!
How much is it?
The cost of the camp is $200.

FAQs on Camp Registration
I know someone who Doesn't Go To Guide Church but they want to come to camp? Can They come to camp?
Yes! We strongly encourage our Venture Students to invite their friends to come to camp! In fact, we award a $25 scholarship to any student who gets a friend (who has not come to Venture before) to register for camp!
My Student is going to 6th grade? Can He go to camp?
Yes! We do allow 6th graders to go to camp. If you have any concerns about your rising 6th grader, contact us!
My student Takes Medicine? Will there be Someone there to help them take their medicine?
Yes! There will be an on-site nurse to help students take their medicine. If you have any concerns about your student’s medical needs, contact us!
How Much does Camp Cost?
The Cost of Camp is $325.
Can I register my Student even If I can't pay right now?
Yes! You can complete registration without paying! Be sure to use Sponsor Code “GUIDE2024” at the end of your registration. Use of this code allows you to register your student without paying the full cost of camp.
How Do I Pay for Camp?
Payments for camp should be made online. Payments can also be in-person during a Sunday Morning service OR during a Wednesday Night Venture Student Ministries service! Be sure to designate your funds to “Venture Camp.”
Do You Offer Scholarships?
At Guide Church, we don’t want anything to serve as a barrier for a student to go to camp. Scholarships will be awarded on a case-by-case basis. We strongly encourage our teenagers to participate in our fundraising events. Read more about how we are raising funds to ensure every student has an opportunity to go to camp.
When is CAmp?
The dates for camp are July 1st-July 5th. We will leave around noon-Monday, July 1st and return around noon Friday, July 5th.
How Do I register?
You can register for camp here! During registration, be sure to enter Sponsor Code “GUIDE2024” at checkout. Be Sure to check the box, or the code won’t be applied! We recommend registering on a laptop or computer.

I Don't have a Laptop or Computer. How can I register?
Stop by one of our Venture Student Ministries Wednesday Nights and we will gladly let you use a computer to register your student!
